The Farm is a Feeling
Hi campers! Here are the updates and event times for this year’s Labor Day celebration on the hill.
The annual Cornhole Tournament will be held at 8:00pm Saturday. The hayride will be at 12:00 on Sunday, and Closest to the Pin will start at 3:00. Our traditional Sunday dinner at 6:00 will include pulled pork and corn, plus hot dogs, broccoli salad, and baked beans. Please do not bring hot foods to the Sunday dinner this year, but guests bringing desserts is appreciated as usual. The outdoor dance floor will be setup if the weather cooperates, which it will.
This year the kids' corn shucking competition will return on Sunday afternoon with a fabulous trophy!
The pond will be open in fair weather from 1:00-3:00 Saturday and Sunday, and ONLY with guardian supervision. There will be a representative from the farm there during those hours, but you are responsible for your children’s safety. Please do not feed the fish because it disturbs the ecosystem of the pond.
The permanent bathrooms will operate as usual, and water and firewood will be available. The bathrooms inside the barn will be open during the Cornhole Tournament and during Sunday dinner.
As much as we love dogs, we discourage you from bringing them. If you must bring them, they need to be on a leash at all times.
